DYNAMITE PRAWNS - How to make Dynamite Prawns

Ingredients:

  • Prawns/Shrimp - 1 kg

For coating and frying:

  • All purpose flour/Maida - 1 cup
  • Corn flour - 1 cup
  • Soya sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1
  • Red Chilli powder - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Black Pepper - 2 teaspoon
  • Mixed Herbs - 1 tesapoon
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup
  • Salt - As needed
  • Oil - For frying

For Sauce:

  • Mayonaisse - 1/2 cup
  • Red chilli sauce - 4 tablespoons
Method:
  1. Clean and Devein the Prawns and let it soak in salt+turmeric water for 1/2 hour.
  2. To marinate the prawns, add the prwans, black pepper(1 teaspoon), red chilli powder, garlic powder(1/2 tablespoon), Soyasauce,Egg and Salt.  
  3. Mix them well and let it rest for 1/2 an hour.
  4. Mix Maida, Corn flour, Black pepper and salt in a water. Add Mixed herbs and garlic powder in Breadcrums and mix them well.
  5. Dip the Prawns in the flour slurry and coat it well in Breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat the oil and fry the prawns till it gets cooked.
  7. Mix Mayonaisse and Redchillisauce together and add the fried prawns in it.
  8. Mix them well, till all the prawns coated.
