BEETROOT SOUP RECIPE - How to cook Beetroot soup

Ingredients:
  • Beetroot - 1
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 2
  • Vegetable stew - 2 cup
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Coriander leaves - a small bunch
  • Garlic - 2 pods
  • Curry leaves - 5/6 sprigs
  • Ginger - a small piece
  • Pepper pods- 1/2 teaspoon
  • Saunf - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter / Ghee - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt - As needed
  • Spring onion - To garnish
Method:
  1. Peel out the skin from Beetroot.
  2. Cut the Beetroot, Onion and Tomato into thin Juliennes.
  3. Squash the Ginger, Garlic, Green chilly,Coriander and Curryleaves.
  4. Heat a cooker, and melt the Butter/Ghee.
  5. Add the saunf and squashed things. Sautè for a minute.
  6. Then add Beetroot, Onion and Tomato and fry it for 5 minutes.
  7. Add the stew and salt.
  8. Pressure cook them and grind into a smooth paste.
  9. Sprinkle some Beetroot cubes and Spring onion.
