Herbal Soup - How to make Herbal Soup

Servings : 2 people

Ingredients:

  • Tulsi/Basil - 1/2 cup
  • Mint leaves - 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves - 1 cup
  • Betel leaves - 2 leaves
  • Curry leaves - 10 leaves
  • Oregano/Indian Borage - 2 leaves
  • Onion - 1
  • Garlic - 2 pods
  • Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - As needed
  • Ghee - 2 teaspoon
Method:

  1. Clean all the leaves using by dipping it in water+vinegar(9:1) solution.
  2. Heat a pan and melt the ghee in it.
  3. Add chopped garlic,onion and fry it for 5 minutes.
  4. Add all the leaves in it and cook it for 2 more minutes.
  5. Now add 2 cups of water,pepper and salt.
  6. Cook it well and remove those leaves.
  7. Grind the leaves into a fine paste and filter it.
  8. Add the paste back into the pan and add the lemon juice in it. Heat them for 2 minutes and turn off the flame.
  9. Drizzle some cream on the top.
